Who says change isn’t good? The hard kind that is…money, change, spare change, pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. I’m scrapping through my penny jar often, looking for the glint of silver, hoping to find a spare nickel, dime or quarter. I use them for the Sunday morning paper to get my coupon fix, I use them for my son’s snack money, I use them for my son to give his offering on Sunday. He likes to hear the “click” in the plate.
Don’t think change isn’t good. Use up that change for things in your life. Be creative, think of ways to not only use your spare change but to save it as well. You’d be surprised how fast it can add up. It could mean a coffee at your favorite coffee shop, a new book to read, a movie out with a friend, or even an entire meal out if you save long enough, and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can save.
Back when I was dating, my boyfriend and I would count the loose change in his ash tray and go out for pizza. You can do it too!
