Sure, we all have our favorite brand of toothpaste, mayonnaise or laundry detergent, but if you truly want to save money, you have to leave brand loyal days behind and surge ahead to true savings.  Not buying brand names just because of the brand name will put you one step closer towards saving more money.

Sure, you can still buy that brand when you have a coupon and there is a sale which results in your getting the item super cheap or free, but if not why not go for either the brand that is on sale, or dreaded, the wholesale or store brand, which is not as bad as you might think.  Many of the store brands are actually manufactured by the same companies which make the “name brand” items.

So, if you want to truly be on your way to saving BIG, face the facts, do you homework and start buying for price instead of brand.
