Now That You Have It Where Do You Store It?

September 11th, 2009 · No Comments

If you have been bargain shopping for a while, you probably have a little stock pile built up by now.  One big problem that some people run into is where they can store their goods.

Depending on what you have a large quantity of; there are some really creative ways to store them.  If you have a large supply of canned food products, try to think of all of the wasted space you have in your house.  Canned food can easily be placed in a storage container and hidden under a bed or in the bottom of a closet.  If you have purchased a large bag of sugar or flour, you may want to consider investing in a large air tight container to store them in.  You can even go by your local grocer and ask the deli department if they have any bakers buckets that they would like to get rid of.  Many times the buckets are thrown out when the are empty to make room for new supplies, and the store will actually give the empty buckets away.

If you have a large supply of personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap, these items can be stored in a large tote in the basement, garage, or attic.

Once you have filled all of your empty space, it may be time to stop shopping for a little while.  As hard as it may be to pass up a free item, if you do not necessarily need it, and you have no place to store it, leave it at the store.
