One of my favorite times to shop is at the end of summer.  You can find many super deals when the sales start.  Most stores have to move out the summer merchandise to make room for the back to school displays and sales.  For several smaller stores, it is essential that they move the summer items out, simply because they do not have room to store them.  This means great deals for you!!

One of my favorite finds was a 10 x 30 foot ring top pool for only $10.00.  We purchased it around this time of year, but my family still got tons of use out of it that year.  You can also find really good deals on things like beach towels, sunscreen, pool toys,  flip flops, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors.  Many of these “great deals” can be used throughout the year.  If you need an outdoor activity, you can always pull out your supply of bubbles and sidewalk chalk.  It is also a great time to start buying supplies for those birthday parties.  Most kids love bubbles, and now is the perfect time to stock up.

You may also want to stock up on beach items if you are planning a beach vacation for next year.  Many times you can find beach pails and toys for under $1.00.  Once you are all stocked up, make sure you remember where you store them once you are at home.
