It is a wonderful feeling to make a purchase at the store, and look at your receipt to see how much money you have saved.  So, once you save it what do you do with it?  There are several neat ideas floating around, some of my favorites are listed below.

Place the money that you save by shopping wisely into your savings account. Coupon shoppers who are serious about the deals can do very well with this strategy.  When you go grocery shopping and save $10.00 by using coupons and shopping wisely, place that $10.00 in your savings account. It may not seem like a large amount, but it can add up quickly.  This may be easier to do if you have an allotted amount in your budget for groceries each week.

Turn your savings into a vacation fund. Everyone loves to go on vacation, but it can be painful to pay for it all at once.  If you add the money that you save weekly on shopping to a vacation fund throughout the year, by the end of the year your vacation could be paid for before you go.

There are several other things that you can do with the money that you save shopping wisely, the most important thing to remember is to save it.
