Credit, it is something that inevitably we will all need at one time or another, buying a house, buying your first car, financing college. In one case or another you’ll sooner or later be using credit. So in order to use your credit you must first establish some credit.
The following are ways to establish credit:
Have a checking and savings account in your name. This simple act and maintaining tit well can help you to establish your first degrees of credit. Over time your depositing, withdrawing and managing your money wisely will show your ability to manage your money and thus give you credit.
Apply for a loan. Even if you think you cannot get one, you’d be surprised. If you can show proof of income, have an asset or assets to use as collateral and can prove that you can pay back the loan you just might be awarded it and thus receive credit.
Apply for department store or gas cards. These cards when used wisely can help you to establish your credit. Make small purchases and pay them back in full each month. This will give you the credit that you are seeking.
Start small, be patient and allow yourself to over time build up a good credit history.
